The Compound Bow Rifle Sight has a simple, effective rear-bracketing system with a V notch similar to a rear rifle sight. The bracket attaches to almost any bow and works with various brands of front sights. To aim, align the appropriate pin on the front sight with the bottom of the V notch and shoot.
This year, Melvin Deien, inventor of the sight, has added a unique bracket called the Dominant Eye Sight ($125), which allows a right-handed shooter to aim with his left eye and vice versa. The new bracket moves the V notch out to the right (or left) in front of the dominant eye to facilitate fast and accurate aiming. The sight comes with an extender arm so the distance between the front and rear sight can be adjusted 8"-9 1/2".
